"Black Jag", tracks 2–8, were recorded at home in early spring 2025. This is subversive meditational music. "It's Over" dates from around the same time in 2016, after a real breakup, now resurfacing as a sonic commentary on the fall of the Western empire. "Winter Sunset" is an 8-track cassette recording from early 2001, capturing a spectacular sunset from my student apartment. Golden light, pink frost.

I dedicate this to Seth Rich and my big teenage crush—may you rest in peace.

Øystein Sandsdalen is a self-taught musician and artist. He made his first experimental guitar things at 16, and in 1997 he and his band The Jaded, opened up for Mogwai in Oslo, Norway. He has played in numerous other bands, such as Thee Unmist, Angora Static and Serena Maneesh. Le Corbeau is his current project.
