Shadow was in an awkward spot during DBNE rotation. Some of its best cards had been nerfed over the years because of how good they were and it eventually led to the point where it had to get a buff in the form of corpselord. It can still do mid-range shadow shenanigans because Eachtar is just him but this deck uses none of that. This deck focuses on getting 30 shadows a-la PTP to activate hinterland ghoul's 6 damage AoE. Running multiple ways of reanimating him to keep up the pressure once online. Andrealpheus is the star of the deck keeping your handsize high for the hinterland turn to generate a bunch of shadows on play as well as cycling to your hinterlands and reanimators. For a deck that was never considered good during its time this has been surprisingly solid into the field. DBNE was considered one of the best times for shadowverse and for good reason. this throwback has shown that it definitely wasn't just nostalgia, it was really fucking good.
