Managing a lot of medications at once can be confusing and overwhelming. With so many different prescription instructions and schedules to remember, it’s easy to lose track or even stop taking your medications. This can lead to more trips to the emergency room and more hospitalizations.

Multi-dose blister packs, available at Josefs Pharmacy, can make things simple, saving you time and energy

The team at Josefs Pharmacy pre-fills each blister sheet based on your doctor’s instructions. Instead of opening multiple bottles with different directions, a month’s supply of your medications are organized into easy to use multi-dose blister packs at no additional charge and can be delivered right to your door.

Using your blister pack is easy. Each row is one day’s medication, and one sheet is 8 days of medications. The blisters are color-coded for specific times of day: Yellow is morning, white is noon, orange is evening, and blue is bedtime. Starting at the bottom left corner, break off the blister that matches the day and time listed. Next, peel back the cover using the tab on the side. If you don’t need to take any medication during a certain time of day, that blister will be empty.
Non-solid or non-pill medications (such as inhalers, lotions, or injections that won't fit into a single package) and their instructions will be provided to you along with your multi-dose blister pack.

When it’s time, just open the next blister, take all of the medications for that time and walk away knowing you’ve done exactly what your doctor and pharmacist recommend. If you’re on the move, no problem! Just tear off the day’s packs and go.

If you want to review your list of medications or instructions for a specific medication, they are always shown at the top of each blister sheet on a summary card. Keep this summary card safe and handy in case of an emergency or a doctor’s office visit.
