Before we enter the somber season of Lent , we journey up the mountain with Peter, James, and John. In this sermon, Pastor Justin Wixon explores the Transfiguration of Jesus—where Christ’s true divinity shines through , proving He is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.
While we are often tempted to compare our sins "horizontally" with those around us , the Transfiguration calls us to a "vertical" comparison against a holy God. When we see ourselves in that light, we realize our desperate need for a Savior. Come and hear why we can "rise and have no fear" , even in the face of our doubts and the world's darkness.
