Описание: Tonight on the Son of Man broadcast, we go directly to the record to examine a serious doctrinal claim that has confused many viewers. The question before us is simple but weighty: If Jesus is called our brother in the Scriptures, how could His flesh be different from ours? We will not approach this with emotion or personality, but by opening and alleging from the Scriptures, just as the apostles did.

Hebrews chapter 2 gives us one of the clearest teachings in the record concerning the relationship between Jesus and those He came to save. The Scripture plainly declares in Hebrews 2:11 KJV, “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.” This language is precise and intentional. Brotherhood in the biblical sense requires real participation in the same human condition.

The record continues in Hebrews 2:14 KJV, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same.” Notice the wording carefully. The Scripture does not say similar flesh, special flesh, or superior flesh. It says the same. This is critical to understanding the foundation of the Gospel.

Furthermore, Hebrews 2:17 KJV declares, “Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren…” The phrase “in all things” leaves no room for exception clauses invented later by men. If He was made like His brethren in all things, then any claim of fundamentally different flesh must be examined carefully against the written record.

We will also address the common confusion regarding Old Testament animal sacrifices. The law used animal sacrifices because sinners could not offer themselves, not because animal flesh was superior to human flesh. Turning symbolism into biology creates serious doctrinal problems and moves away from the plain reading of Hebrews 2.
