🥣 Creamy Vanilla Rice Porridge (Family Recipe)
Ingredients
• 4 dl (1⅔ cups) porridge rice
• 6 dl (2½ cups) water
• ½ tsp salt
• 4 dl (1⅔ cups) unsweetened almond milk
• 1.5 dl (⅔ cup) 4% cream
• Sweetener to taste
• 1 tsp vanilla powder (adjust to taste)

Instructions
1. Bring the rice, water, and salt to a boil in a saucepan.
2. Lower the heat and let it simmer with a lid on for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add the almond milk and cream.
4. Let it gently simmer for another 20–25 minutes, until creamy.
5. Stir in vanilla powder and sweetener toward the end.
6. Taste and adjust sweetness and consistency if needed.
