Ikaru - Nara

Описание: Nara is the story of a transformation.

Initiated based on an improvised acapella melody by Bobby McFerrin, the first seeds of Nara was planted two years ago. Since that day, the track has experienced numerous metamorphoses. What is absorbed through this process has reflected to Nara, which means “an ecstatic state of exclamation” in Turkish. Nara is a musical representation of this process within a universe of delicately woven soundscapes featuring textured vocals, bowed guitar and analog synthesizers, based on the downtempo rhythms of Ikaru.

The video, on the other hand, narrates an ever-changing journey of linescapes and symbolist traditions of the world, accompanied by the reaction-diffusion patterns, which manifest themselves in nature by many occasions of chemical reactions, such as in the coat patterns of zebras and giraffes. The video is designed, animated and arranged as an algorithmic & generative visual composition by Ali Bozkurt, and no further editing applied to the output of this composition. The journey is in a complete parametric relationship with music, leaving us in the jungle of both the materialistic and spiritual dynamics of the nature.
