Shortlisted for the EmAGN Emerging Architect category at the 2023 WA Architecture Awards Izvor House focuses on place, both built and natural, and the desire to be sympathetic to the streetscape and its scale. The form, details and materiality are a nod to Italian mid century aesthetics. The plan is divided into public and private with the front living area a place for family and friends to interact with each other and the environment outside. The rear provides a more closeted and protected experience.
