Five years ago, a viewer named Rainer told me about an old foundation hidden in his backyard in Zellwood, Florida. What we discovered was a forgotten lakeside walking path built in the mid-1800s on land once owned by Thomas Ellwood Zell, one of the area’s early pioneers.
In this video, I return five years later to see how nature has reclaimed the path and how the property has changed. I also share major life updates, including the loss of Rainer’s wife and dog, and reflect on what this place means to him now.
This is a walking exploration of hidden Florida history, nature reclaiming man-made structures, and the passage of time.
