PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ABSCONDING FOR 15 YEARS ARRESTED BY AATS, SOUTH DISTRICT.


INTRODUCTION: -

The team of AATS, South District has done commendable work by arresting a proclaimed offender namely Bilash Kumar Munni.


BRIEFING OF THE STAFF: -

The staff of AATS, South District was specifically tasked to nab the POs, hence, the team was working regularly on proclaimed offenders who were evading their presence before Hon'ble Court of law. Accordingly, the staff initiated sincere efforts by sensitizing local informers and collecting human intelligence.


INFORMATION & OPERATION:-

In this sequence, a credible input was received that a proclaimed offender was evading his presence before Hon’ble Court of Law and hiding at Charki Dadri, Haryana. Immediately, a team comprising of HC Krishan, HC Sandeep & HC Somvir headed by AATS/SD was formed to act swiftly. The team so formed developed information and local enquiry of the area was conducted. More details about the suspect were obtained. As per input the team conducted a raid at Mahadev Grit Udhyog, Village Pichopa Kalan, Charki Dadri, Haryana and a person was arrested. Later on, he was identified as Bilash Kumar Munni. During interrogation, he disclosed that he was absconding since the registration of case. He was produced before the concerned Hon’ble Court.

PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSON ARRESTED:-

Bilash Kumar Munni S/o Braham Dev Munni R/o Village Mohanpur Bazar, PS Rupoli, Distt- Purnia, Bihar. Age- 43 years

PROCLAMATION:-

He was absconding and declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Hon'ble Patiala House Courts, New Delhi vide order dated 04.02.2008 in connection with case FIR No. 474/2004 U/S 279/337 IPC, PS Vasant kunj, New Delhi. He was evading his arrest before the Hon’ble Court of Law for the last 15 years.


The staff involved in good work is being suitably rewarded.
