I will be using the song Oasis, written by Keith's (aka Mr. ChemKnits) band, Free Parking, while we were in graduate school.

If you plan to dye a sock blank to make a pair of socks for someone you love, adding song lyrics, a poem, or a love note is a great way to make the socks filled with an extra bit of love. It will be like there is a secret message embedded in your knitting, and it can be a fun secret (or hilarious inside joke) between you and someone you care about.

[1:15] Mixing the colors to dip dye the dry blank (1/8 tsp Royal Blue + 1/4 tsp Burgundy in 1/2 cup of water)
