Jones is a former US Senate investigator, who joins us to discuss his role in leading the investigation into the CIA use of torture following the September 2001 attacks. He is the founder
of Advance Democracy and The Penn Quarter Group, and was from 2017 to 2019 a Fellow at Harvard’s Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. His investigative work was dramatised in the 2019 political drama, The Report, in which he was portrayed by Adam Driver.
