The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi has warned that uncertainty over Iran's nuclear stockpile could lead to dramatic decisions as negotiations between the US and Iran continue.
Iran has barred IAEA inspectors from assessing its enriched uranium since the 12-day war in June 2025, which Grossi says could be used for manufacturing nuclear weapons.
Iran's government stated it sought a fair and equitable agreement in Geneva while prioritising diplomacy. US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of having "sinister nuclear ambitions" and working to rebuild a nuclear program that was targeted by US strikes last year.
