In today's video I will show you how easy and breezy it is to replace a DSM module in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle using All-ABRITES tools. In this case, I only need access to the FBS4 manager in the ABRITES Diagnostics for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. In just a few clicks, you can:

Read personalization data from the original DSM module
Set a second-hand DSM module to a virgin state to use as replacement
Personalize the used and reset DSM module to the vehicle
Write VIN to the replacement DSM module

This solution is super simple! You do not need to open the module or work on the PCB. All is done on bench via internal CAN-Bus connection to the module in a few minutes. The best part is that you only use ABRITES tools: AVDI, CB034 cable, ZN082 power supply adapter and the MN032 and MN034 licenses! I love that I can do every step within the unified ecosystem of my AVDI.
