For those hearing about these prophecies for the first time, let me clarify that His Eminence is not revealing anything new to us. These prophecies have been known to us for decades.

His Eminence has been speaking about these matters for the past 10 years. You can find them on @rumorthodox9171, @ΟΜΙΛΙΕΣΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΙΤΟΥΜΟΡΦΟΥ, @balanthsberoia, and elsewhere. Of course, few paid attention when he warned about the Third World War, natural disasters, pandemics in 2015, and, most importantly, the specific unrepented sins of humanity that would trigger these events.

The Greek saints of the Eastern Orthodox Church have prophesied about our times for centuries. To name a few: Saint Methodius, Bishop of Patara 1700 years ago; Saint Kosmas the Aetolian 300 years ago; Saint Paisios the Athonite 50 years ago; Holy Gerondissa Galaktia just 10 years ago and they are still men and women of God, such as the (secret) Gerondissa of Attiki who do.

Events, such as the fall of Erdoğan, the creation of a Kurdish state, and the General War that will follow, have been written down in Greek Orthodox books for decades. You can step in an Orthodox bookstore and find them.

His Eminence’s is simply connecting the dots now that we witness these events unfolding. While he may occasionally err in personal interpretations— as he is not “infallible” —the core events will come to pass because they were prophesied by saints, not only Greek but also Russian, Serbian, Ukrainian, Romanian, and others.

Most Greek Orthodox bishops have likely encountered the same saints (or others) and read the same books. The difference is that he has the courage to speak publicly about these matters, while others remain silent out of fear or other reasons.

His Eminence says "12" [nautical miles], but must he must have wanted to say 6.
He just confused the number in the flow of the speech.
The prophecy of Saint Kosmas the Aetolian which was later interpreted by Saint Paisios talks about 6 nautical miles, which is the current extent of the Greek territorial waters in the Aegean sea.
