Recently, President Trump issued an executive order deferring the deadline to pay the workers portion of social security taxes. The social security tax is 6.2% of every paycheck an employee receives - by deferring this tax, that 6.2 will stay on the check, giving American workers more money in their paycheck from now until January 1st.
