Taylor Swift says in Blank Space, 'So it's gonna be forever, Or it's gonna go down in flames.’ Drawing inspiration from the titles of her songs, we use these expanded concepts to guide our discussion exploring the current state of the cybersecurity community. We’ll begin with what makes us say I Knew You Were Trouble – social engineering and its continued impact. However, we can Shake It Off with true secure-by-design and realistic vendors. What do we see in our Wildest Dreams for the future of cybersecurity? And finally, the End Game, where we impose real-word cost on attackers: making our lives easier and theirs harder.
