New Food Source for Our Family, The American Bresse Chicken

Описание: We decided to stream line our food source here on the homestead. After a lot of research and asking questions, we wanted to have a chicken that we can raise and use for meat & eggs. The Bresse Chicken was the answer! Bresse Chickens can be traced to Bresse, France, and is highly re-guarded for the marbled meat and taste. GreenFire Farms, went over to France and got several breeding pairs to bring back to the US. This is why the chickens are called "American Bresse" and not Bresse Chickens.

We are excited to have this breed on our homestead and hope that it will replace having to buy Cornish Cross or other chickens. American Bresse will do both and we will be able to keep a supply and demand without having to look for sales or worry about timing. This will be a long journey for us, since we are starting from scratch.
