Queen Latin Club was so much fun. A local friend brought us here, and as Americans, we didn’t really know what to expect. This place has been around since the 70s and it looks like the decor hasn’t changed since then- I felt like we were transported to the set of Narcos Mexico. It really gives the vibe of old Guadalajara, back when the city was in its prime. It’s a little expensive comparatively as there is a door charge of about 100 pesos or $5. The drinks are good ; the food not so much. They have a live band in the evening and some salsa classes during the day. And even if dancing is not your thing, it’s still fun to watch as the dancers are quite good. Mexicans grow up dancing and Queen Latin Club is a great place to see that in action. There are also lots of cool photo props and places to take your photo. If you are in Guadalajara, you should definitely check it out.
