In autumn 2025, I explored the Zermatt region in Valais, Switzerland, during the peak of the season—when golden larch forests, crystal-clear lakes, and quiet valleys reveal their most pristine beauty. This is one of Switzerland’s most iconic alpine areas, where solitude meets grandeur.
Over three days, the journey covered roughly 40 kilometers, crossing high alpine plateaus, deep glacial valleys, and rugged mountain terrain. Along the way, I passed dramatic glaciers, tranquil lakes, and stood beneath some of the highest summits in the Alps, including the Matterhorn, Dom, and Weisshorn.
This film is ambient and without dialogue, created to capture the atmosphere of the trail—the landscapes, the silence, and the natural rhythm of the journey.
