Perhaps one of the more surreal moments on the show: Dave's unhappy with a joke he's told during his opening remarks, so he and Pete Fatovich go downstairs to the videotape editing room and instruct Videotape Editor Fran Cimino to splice it out.
As to the joke:
The context: Cybill Sheperd had been a spokeswoman for the beef industry at the time.
The deleted punchline:
"How this works is that they both get drunk on the wine cooler, and Cybill says she would like some meat."
