Grocery shopping in Belgium pasta sauce and olive oil 2024

Описание: I leave the Netherlands by bike and will visit 4 stores in Sint-Niklaas for the same products. Albert Heijn, Carrefour Market and Aldi but also Colruyt. In the Netherlands, olive oil is very expensive, but so is pasta sauce. In Colruyt there were 10 cash registers open and I think this is positive that you don't lose time, but Albert Heijn and Carrefour also have the self-scan cash register. Aldi only has 1 cash register open, which is a bit irritating. At Carrefour Market I bought a pasta sauce 1kg that is very good value for money, the other one too, but at Colruyt I didn't find a 500 gram sauce that is under 1 euro (house brand). It is interesting if you live at the border to do your shopping in both countries, with advantages in the Netherlands and Belgium. The olive oil in all stores is particularly good in terms of price and quality.
