If there's a word that might be constantly on the lips of any Salvationist, it's the word 'whosoever.'
The positive side of that word is simply this: God loves everyone, no exception; Jesus died for everyone so that all might be welcome in the Kingdom of God.
The other side is that there is a requirement, a condition. 'Whosoever' assumes that, as Paul says, 'all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' This means that in order to have eternal life, the 'whosoever' must believe in Jesus. Repentance, and faith in him, apply the grace of God that is open to all who believe. That's the good news of the Gospel: Whosoever will may come.
