This week feels like a reset. After flirting with early hints of spring, we’re back in a classic late-winter groove- chilly days, cold nights and waves of light snow rotating through. Nothing extreme, but enough to remind us February isn’t finished. Expect modest snow totals for most, brief breaks of clearing and temperature swings as we head into the weekend. Winter isn’t roaring- but it’s definitely not done.
More sunshine and warming take shape Friday/Saturday. Sunday starts mild with highs in the 40s and even low 50s ahead of a cold front. Rain and snow showers develop, winds turn gusty and snow levels fall into Sunday night and Monday. Lower elevations may see a mix before colder air settles in. Early next week stays active with more small systems rotating through. It’s a late-winter roller coaster rather than a one-and-done storm.
