Power Chrono Rotation Explained

and are now trying to learn the Power Chronomancer rotation for raiding. At the bottom of the linked page, you can find a rotation video and a written rotation. So, essentially, you have all you already need, without ever watching this video here.

But many people say that "these rotations come out of nowhere" and "how should I ever memorize this". Let's take a different approach here.
I will not recite the whole rotation so you can repeat it after me, instead I will explain WHY the rotation is organized the way it is. This will not only help you remember it, but also show you how, when and why to deviate from the standard rotation or how to recover from mistakes. (As many are eager to point out whenever the topic comes up, there are situations where Chrono can't do damage uninterrupted, therefore other DPS classes are better in real raids. I will show at the end how to prove these people wrong.)

But explaining WHY means we will have to talk a lot about skill cooldowns, in order to understand how they all interact. If you are particularly allergic to numbers, theorycrafting rotations may not be for you.
