I tried to plot my novel using ONLY Shawn Coyne's The Story Grid...and it didn't go well. Here's why.
I think The Story Grid is a completely wonderful resource and I WOULD recommend to a friend, but it's important to remember that no one writing resource is perfect. It is helpful to have a diverse array of techniques and methodologies in your toolbox because every writing resource will have holes!
