In casa siamo operatori culturali: per Alessia è lavoro, per me "solo" un hobby (che occupa più ore della mia vita che il mio vero lavoro). Per chi fa cultura il periodo è più tragico che per tutti gli altri: siamo stati i primi a chiudere e saremo gli ultimi a riaprire. E se la cultura che fai è "danza sociale", allora sarai l'ultimo degli ultimi: non c'è prospettiva, non c'è futuro.
Per non cadere nella depressione, per produrre comunque cultura in questo dannato periodo, stiamo percorrendo strade diverse: dalle produzioni video, alle dirette Facebook, a questa serie di video, in cui coinvolgendo anche Mattia e Camilla facciamo una nuova danza ogni sera, sperando di essere di conforto e di compagnia per qualcuno.
E poi succede che... uno di questi "qualcuno" ti fa una sorpresa. Un amico lontano coreografa una danza apposta per te, e addirittura le dà anche il tuo nome. Ringrazio di cuore Murrough per il regalo che ci ha fatto. Con un certo orgoglio posso annunciare che esiste una danza con il mio nome :D

And then it happens that ...
At home we are cultural operators: for Alessia is job, for me "only" a hobby (that take me more hours of my life than my real job). For those who make culture, the period is more tragic than for everyone else: we were the first to close and we will be the last to reopen. And if the culture you work on is "social dances", you will be the very last of the last: there is no perspective, there is no future.
In order not to fall into depression, and to produce culture anyway in this damned period, we are following different paths: from video productions, to Facebook live, to this series of videos, in which involving Mattia and Camilla we make a new dance every day, hoping to to be of comfort and uplift for someone.
And then it happens that ... one of these "someone" makes you a surprise. A friend from afar choreographs a dance especially for you, and even gives it your name. Many many thanks to Murrough for the gift he gave us. With much pride I can announce that there is a dance with my name :D
