The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Coordinator of United Nations Operations in Liberia, Karin Landgren, has honored personnel of the Nepalese Contingent at a colorful ceremony. During the ceremony, medals were awarded to the officers on behalf of the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon.
SRSG Karin Landgren encouraged the Government, and its citizens to use the rule of law and not to engage in mob violence.
