Odisha Vigilance Achieves Record Success in 2025 | 125 Cases Ordered This Year

Описание: The year 2025 has marked a historic success for the Odisha Vigilance Department. In a major review meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, it was revealed that the State Government directed Vigilance to investigate a record 125 cases between April and December 2025, the highest in the last 20 years.

Following the Chief Minister’s zero tolerance policy against corruption, the Vigilance Department remains in action mode. In 2025 alone, 488 cases were disposed, 108 accused were convicted, and a record 173 disproportionate assets cases were settled.

Adding to this achievement, the State Vigilance Academy received the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification for the next three years, recognizing improvements in infrastructure and quality training. The Chief Minister praised the department and urged continued efforts to make Odisha completely corruption-free.
