Snowdon Watkin Path - 200 second timed guide

Описание: For all you walkers who just want a quick overview of the Watkin Path, this video describes it in just 200 seconds.
I think it is the most interesting,picturesque and beautiful of the six 'regular' routes and physically the hardest (Crib Goch is a technical challenge).
Essentially, there are three moderate sections and three steeper sections with the scree slope being the hardest.
Approximate times to a number of checkpoints are displayed and if you are young and fit you can do it quicker .... if you want to.
Others can take quite a bit longer.
Bear in mind it will be colder at the summit and the cafe and toilets may not be open.
Take sufficient fluids and energy snacks.

These days, Snowdonia in general and Snowdon in particular can become very busy and it can be a long wait if you insist on sunny days with excellent visibility.
If you will simply settle for dry days or Winter climbing you will have more opportunities but remember the Capel Curig area is one of the wettest places in Britain.
