2. Rory Dall’s Sister’s Lament - Traditional Scottish , arranged by Uri and Sunita
Cumha Peathair Ruaidhri, or Rorie Dall's Sister's lament is thought to be composed by the Irish harper, Ruaidhri Dall O Cathain (c.1570-1650), who spent most of his life in Scotland, and who composed many beautiful tunes for the Scottish nobility.
3. Far from Home - Traditional Scottish/ Shetland fiddle tune, arr. by Uri and Sunita
4. The Skye Boat Song - Scottish Song made popular by the TV series, Outlander. Sir Harold Boulton composed the lyrics to an air collected by Anne Campbelle MacLeod in the 1870’s. Alternative lyrics were written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1885. The song tells of the journey of Bonnie Prince Charlie as he fled capture by government troops after his defeat at the Battle of Cullodon in 1746.1885.
5. Ae Fond Kiss- Robert Burns / Glenlivet- Scottish reel
Ae Fond Kiss is based on an arrangement by Kim Robertson from her book: Scottish Ballads and Aires https://folkharp.com/product/scottish...
6. Wadi Celt- composed by Uri Miles (abridged version of concerto for low flute and bagpipes)
7. High Cathedral- a popular tune for the Great Highland Bagpipe. The melody was composed by German musicians Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb in 1982 for Scottish Highland games held in Germany.
8. Kahol - a reel composed by Uri Miles in honour of his daughter.
9. Old Lang Syne - Two versions based on traditional Scottish folk songs. The lyrics are a poem written by Robert Burns in 1788.
