One thing I like about riding VTA is that bus operators tend to go very fast when there are no passengers waiting at the stops and skipping many of them. This happens on the 66, which although there are many stops, most of them usually have no passengers.
This operator that I had was already 6 minutes ahead, and he was still going very fast and getting earlier. This is good on an older Gillig, since you will hear that good Voith transmissions! If this were to be a newer Gillig bus, it will be completely different...
