※About Gawan※

Gawan is a Hong Kong, Australian and New Zealand lawyer, a writer, a painter and a toy and accessory collector. He began painting portraits in 1997, and in 2001 he began to compose a number of word songs, a casual style of writing based on the format of lyrics and modern poetry. He published his first experimental word song book album titled “Who’s That Virgin? He is…. Gawanlo” in Taiwan in July 2021, and published his first official word song book album titled “Virgin” and painting book titled “Anita Mui The Legend Of The Pop Queen – Part I” in July 2024.

He likes free creativity and focuses on life attitude, culture, fashion, arts and dissemination of information. He never follows the trend and does not like all rigid and conservative ideas and concepts. He believes that life should not blindly consume one's body and only mind for material things, but should treat oneself well and enjoy a simple life. He likes to listen to other people's stories and experiences and embody different cultures and matters in society and life. He hopes that through the works he creates, people can return to simplicity and nature, promote love and peace, re-understand themselves and transform their souls spiritually.
