Victoria 3 - Tokugawa Shogunate: Episode 1, The Tenpō Crisis

Описание: In our first episode, we focus on resolving the Tenpō crisis while developing the capacity for growing our economy through modernization and industrialization. We enact Shinsengumi, a special variation of Secret Police only allowed for Japan, we end serfdom and institute a system of tenant farmers, we shift from Merchant Fleet to Capital Fleet for our navy model, and finally, we put an end to our Traditionalist economy and enact an economy based on industrial growth and Interventionism.

Our first run in path 1.13/The Great Wave DLC will be focused on checking out the new story content available for Japan. As voted on the Posts tab prior to the run getting going, our goal will be to hold fast to our national and religious traditions as we restore the Emperor to power, while at the same time building a nation strong enough to weather the storm of western imperialism. To this end, we will first strengthen Japan's economy and society, and second, assemble the states of Asia into a military alliance to withstand the onslaught of western ideology and imperialism—by any means necessary.
