What’s the The Angry Birds Movie 2 movie about?
The flightless birds live their lives in peace in Bird Island, after the war for the rescue of their eggs and reconstruction of their village. However, Leonard (Bill Hader), ruler of the green pigs, exacts revenge on the flock of birds after they devastated his homeland in a previous battle for their eggs. With new assistants, this leads to another - but small - war involving the birds and pigs. However, a threat from the sky in the form of a giant ice sphere forces the warring parties to join forces to fight a new enemy. A mysterious purple eagle bird named Zeta (Leslie Jones), tired of her life on a remote, polar island, threatens them all with her own plans for conquest. Led by Zeta, the eagles of the floating polar island want to conquer the neighboring territories. Angry Red (Jason Sudeikis), fast Chuck (Josh Gad), explosive Bomb (Danny McBride) and Chuck's sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) embark on a new adventure to end this plan and save their worlds and lives, by joining forces with the green pigs to try to destroy the super weapon Zeta has.
