If you're considering building your own off-grid cabin or looking for land to build an off-grid space, now is the time to do it! Cupcake and I found a beautiful spot with a spring fed year round creek where we're planning to build a long-term off-grid home for ourselves and can't wait to get started!
East of the Mississippi River you'll be hard pressed to find many (if any) free campsites. After traveling all over the Southwest US and enjoying the multitude of free camping spots (BLM land), we knew we wanted to find a place that was inexpensive so we could continue our living small lifestyle here.
Stay tuned for our planned builds of an outdoor kitchen, cabin, shower and more while we incorporate solar, water collection and self-sufficient living on our little piece of heaven! For those who have been following us, we still plan to work on cargo trailer conversions, traveling and exploring the amazing places in the US, so hope you continue with us on this amazing journey!
