I thought new clamps and exhaust sealant would fix my WIPPRO diesel heater, but winter van life just got a lot more complicated. Waking up to a power steering leak and a heater that still won't stop smoking is a nightmare when you're broke and living in a van Massachusetts.

In this video, I head to Advance Auto Parts and Amazon/Whole Foods to grab supplies for the heater fix. After sealing the exhaust leaks, I realized the smoke might actually be the fiberglass sleeve burning off—but that’s the least of my worries. My van is now leaking fluid, and with an inspection sticker due this month, I’m facing expensive repairs for tires, shocks, and exhaust work that I simply wasn't prepared for.

This is the reality of vehicle dwelling that people don't often show. I’m dropping the van off at the mechanic next, which means I’ll be living out of a borrowed Subaru Forester for the next few days. Thank you for following my journey. Your support means everything during weeks like this.
