Two years after a miscarriage, Tim and Olivia lost their child through a miscarriage.

Because of this commonality, they decide to continue working together on a solution and discover recordings that could contain the code to deactivate the wall. Lea single-handedly determines that Anton has strangulation marks, indicating that he appears to have been killed by Yuri. She doesn't realize that he is behind her and is now killing her as well. Upstairs, the others also discover, based on the video recordings from the disguised surveillance cameras, that Yuri also strangled Anton when he managed to deactivate the wall using a light code emitted from his cell phone. They return to the ground floor, witness Yuri burning Anton's recordings, and finally overpower and tie him to a chair with duct tape.

Using Anton's cell phone, they manage to transform the wall into a liquid state. Ana falls into the wall and is pulled deeper into it. Marvin, Olivia, and Tim attempt to pull her back, but fail. As the wall returns to a solid state, Ana's abdomen is severed, leaving only her lifeless torso to fall back into the apartment. Marvin cannot bear his loss and shoots the bound and laughing Yuri, who appears to be hit and dies, before turning the gun on himself.

Olivia and Tim realize they've chosen the wrong order of light signals and, using the video recording, determine the correct order, which allows them to open the wall. After a fight with Yuri, who is still alive and has since managed to free himself and is determined to prevent the wall, which he considers his safe protection, from disappearing at all costs, the two are able to leave the building via the ramp of the underground parking garage and drive away in their VW van.

In a final shot, it is seen that the entire city is affected by the malfunction of the secret security system, which was triggered by the fire in the port area.
