ANSJ 65 - New Year And Perihelion Jam by Dave Antal in Ambient & Space Jams

Happy New Year and Happy Perihelion to you all. We're closest to the Sun on 4th January at 6:52 UTC this year.

In each episode of the series I'm jamming out a tune on the spot, recording it in one unedited take and at the same time shooting a video of it. No mistakes get edited out, it is as it's played.

In this guitar jam I started out with the clean guitars (on video), then adding the other elements (guitar(s), bass, percussion and drums) later.
Guitar1 (in video) plugs in into a clean valve preamp and then a phaser effect followed by stereo delay and reverb.
Gutiar2 plays leads on a valve preamp with rolled back gain on verses and more gain on the choruses, a third layer added harmonizing with it. After the preamp there's chorus effect added on choruses, and stereo delay and a bit of reverb.
Bass is super simple, just a valve preamp and lots of compression.
Percussion and drums edited from loops.
The guitar and bass are two semitones downtuned in an A=432Hz tuning.
