About Severed Light
Severed Light was developed by me, Mikedzines over a month. It started as a small scale curiosity into Vibecoding that turned out to surprise and absolutely pull me in. Many many hours later — I made Severed Light inspired by fantasy games of my childhood.

The plot takes place in the kingdom of Valdris where you, a stranger to yourself and the people around you wake up to find the world in shambles. A dark lord controls the land and has shunned the people to their castles. As you adventure through the lands, you uncover the true nature of the world.

5 Classes
Severed Light features 5 classes that harken back to old-school action-RPGs. The Mage: a classic elemental wielder. The Berserker: the classic beat-em-up character. The Knight: A fun and holy blend between the two. The Ranger: A fun ranged character with some fun traps and skills and lastly the Druid: a summoner of beasts and a bit of a beast themself ;)

Deep Loot System
Severed Light features a multi-layered loot system with more than 15 armor styles that all dynamically changed based on the attributes attached to it. Look forward to scouring the world for magic, rare, epic and legendary loot.

Tons to do and explore.
Severed Light is a procedurally generated game — no two playthroughs will be exactly the same in design. Find random campfires, make a campfire yourself, cook food, talk to locals, sail across the open seas, enter dungeons, and even find portals to hellish underworlds. Simply hitting "T" on your keyboard can open a portal and bring you back to safety.
