Do Not Miss this Attraction in New Zealand's Art Deco Hub S3:E16

Описание: In episode 16 of our South Pacific Cruise we arrive in Napier, New Zealand. We skip the expensive NCL cruise lines excursions and ride the free shuttle into town. This town is known as an Art Deco masterpiece which transports visitors back to the Roaring 20's. We also discover a hidden gem that is the National Aquarium of New Zealand where we see a multitude of wildlife including many aquatic species, reptiles and Little Penguins, the smallest penguin species in the world. We also have our first ever encounter with New Zealand's iconic Kiwi bird.

Our exploration includes visits to the town's black sand beach, Colonnade and Plaza, MTG (Museum Theatre Gallery) Hawks Bay, and the extraordinary Sunken Gardens.

We have the time of our lives exploring this small town, and we share that experience with all of you.

Our cruise on the Norwegian Cruise Lines Sun takes us to numerous islands including Bora Bora, Rarotonga, American Samoa, Pago Pago, The Kingdom of Samoa, Fiji and Vanuatu, Then we arrive in Australia where we make port calls in Brisbane, Melbourne, Portland, Adelaide, and Kangaroo Island. After that, we visit Hobart, Tasmania before we sail through the fjords of New Zealand's Fjordlands National Park. We round off the cruise with stops in Dunedin, Wellington, Picton, Napier, Tauranga and Aukland.

As usual, we have made some prearranged tours prior to sailing, but in some places we leave the ship with very little idea of what we are going to do that day. Whether planned or spontaneous, we manage to have a fantastic time as we experience our first trip down under.
