As each day passes, the memorial at the Vancouver Lapu Lapu Day site near East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street grows larger.
The crowd is a steady stream of people, many visiting for the first time to pay their respects.
Many of those visiting have a personal connection to the tragedy, including first-responders who were on scene Saturday night SUV drove into a crowd of people attending the Filipino festival, killing 11 people and injuring dozens of others.
