Lab 8 covers Data Collection, Input Modeling, and Arena's Input Analyzer. The focus is on building data-driven stochastic simulation models for operations research. These discrete-event system simulation models are, in this class, implemented within Arena. However, the data-collection tips discussed in this lab (mainly in Part 1) will apply to any discrete event system simulation study. Part 2 is a tutorial of Arena's Input Analyzer. Part 3 describes the laboratory experience for the class.
