The current water level at Hirakud stands at 624.10 feet. Officials are closely monitoring the inflow and outflow as upstream rainfall continues to influence reservoir levels.

Meanwhile, there is some relief downstream as the Mahanadi river flow at Mundali is gradually decreasing. According to the latest update at 7:00 AM, the discharge has dropped to 8.65 lakh cusecs.

The administration remains on alert in downstream districts, advising residents in low-lying areas to stay cautious and follow official flood advisories. Rescue and relief teams continue to monitor the evolving flood situation across Odisha.
