Описание: I went out expecting to photograph birds along the LA River—but sometimes wildlife photography doesn’t go as planned. No birds. No action. Just empty frames.

Instead of calling it a day, I made a last-minute decision and headed to Northridge Park—and that’s where everything changed. Out of nowhere, a stunning vermilion flycatcher appeared, lighting up the scene and turning a slow outing into a reminder of why I always keep shooting.

This video is about patience, adaptability, and trusting the process as a wildlife photographer—especially when shooting in urban environments. You never know when the shot you didn’t plan for becomes the one you remember most.
