Major Political Shift in Tamil Nadu | Rebel AIADMK MLAs Back EPS

Описание: In a significant political development in Tamil Nadu, rebel MLAs have declared their support for AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami within a matter of days. A group of rebel MLAs, led by former minister SP Velumani, visited Palaniswami's residence and pledged their full support to him, asserting that there is no split in the AIADMK and that only differences of opinion existed. While MLA CV Shanmugam's absence from the group sparked speculation about his possible support for TVK, Velumani clarified that they had spoken with Shanmugam before meeting Palaniswami and that everyone remains united. Following the meeting, Velumani's group also met Speaker JCD Prabhakar and submitted a letter requesting that they be recognized as AIADMK members in the Assembly, with Velumani also confirming that the party has withdrawn its earlier complaints seeking disqualification of the rebel MLAs. Speaker Prabhakar stated that a decision on the letter submitted by the rebel MLAs would be announced the following day.
