In this video, we isolate a roof leak caused by a plumbing vent pipe.
Water runs down the exterior of the vent pipe, and movement at the pipe breaks the seal at the vent flashing, allowing water to enter the roof system.
This was a temporary seal only.
The entire roof is scheduled for replacement, where the vent flashing will be properly replaced as part of the new roofing system.
