FAMA is the musical project of brothers Facundo (2004) and Mateo (2005), born in Peru with Argentine roots that shape their identity and artistic sensitivity.

The name comes from a fusion of their own—Fa from Facundo and Ma from Mateo— reflecting their bond since childhood, back when they even shared a single PlayStation
account.

Raised in a family environment filled with art and music, they grew up inspired by icons like Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, and later by artists such as Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Shawn Mendes.

This connection pushed them to explore music early on:
Facundo began playing guitar at age 8, and Mateo started piano at 10.
FAMA’s sound is intimate and emotional—an acoustic pop blend with touches of country, funk, and organic textures. Guitars take the lead, accompanied by pianos, soft drums, and lyrics that aim to connect with what’s human and real.

Both brothers have also explored other creative disciplines. Facundo acted in Peruvian series and films, later studying acting at Estudio Corazza in Madrid before fully committing to music.

Mateo developed himself in the fashion world and worked as a DJ for several years, specializing in vinyl and genres like minimal, disco, and electro.

Today, FAMA represents the union of two complementary paths. It’s the result of years of artistic and emotional growth—a project driven by authenticity and sensitivity.

Their dream collaborations include artists like Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and Danny Ocean, musicians who—just like them—blend the intimate with the universal.

FAMA is currently working on new music alongside Los Angeles–based producers such as Jesse Shatkin (SIA, One Direction), Joel Jones (Balu Brigada, RIZ LA VIE), Brandon Shoop (Dijon, Syd, Lucky Daye, Princess Nokia), and Juan Ariza (Sebastián Yatra, WILLOW, Robbie Williams, Camilo, Gallant).
