The TBM "Karpatka", which for several months has been excavating a more than two-kilometre tunnel on the S19 expressway section, is about to break through to the Northern Portal. This is one of the most important milestones of the entire project.
The contract, worth over PLN 2 billion, is being carried out by a consortium of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. and ACCIONA on behalf of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
