STORYLINE:
El presidente Donald Trump se reunió el martes con su homólogo colombiano Gustavo Petro en la Casa Blanca, un encuentro de casi dos horas que ambos calificaron de amistoso, un giro de 180 grados semanas después de que el mandatario estadounidense acusó a Petro de enviar cocaína hacia Estados Unidos y amenazó con emprender acciones militares contra la nación sudamericana.
Al finalizar la reunión, Trump intentó minimizar sus críticas anteriores.
“Él y yo no éramos precisamente los mejores amigos, pero no me sentí insultado porque nunca lo había conocido. No lo conocía para nada”.
